I studied Fine Arts. Then I ended up in operations, which is about as far from a life drawing class as you can get, and found myself staring at spreadsheets that were completely correct and totally unreadable.
That bothered me enough to start fixing them — first formulas, then scripts, then full applications. I design the tool, direct the build, and test it against real operational use. I'm not the one typing the syntax, and that has never been the constraint. The constraint is knowing what to build, seeing why something looks wrong, and refusing to stop before it works.
The art degree wasn't a detour. Most data is presented badly, and knowing why something looks wrong is a thing you can't pick up from a formula reference.
Furrell is an independent practice. Every tool on this site exists because a real team needed it and nothing on the market fit the shape of the problem.
